Mauni Amavasya Shahi Snan

January 29

Known as the day of silence, Mauni Amavasya is the most auspicious and significant bathing day of the Kumbh Mela. On this day, devotees observe silence to honor Sage Manu, who is believed to have performed the first ritualistic dip at the Sangam. The act of Snan (Bathing)  in the Sangam’s waters is seen as a means of attaining spiritual purity, inner peace, and divine grace. This day attracts vast numbers of sadhus, Naga sadhus, and pilgrims who come in search of enlightenment and spiritual renewal.
